发帖数: 135 | 1 I bought a CD of Beethoven's Lieder by Fisher-Dieskau in
Toronto. It is a
very nice one. The most well know Lieder writer is Schubert.
But almost all
German - Austrian composers had some masterpieces in it.
Beethoven's circle
'An die ferne Geliete'(To the lover far way) and 'Maigesang'
(Song of May)
are both attractive. 'Ich liebe dich' is simple but
impressive. My best loved
one is his 'Adelaide'. The melody is spacious and moving,
showing the faith to
lover to death.
