As a developer on the OneDrive team, you will work with your counterparts in
program management, quality, and service engineering to design, implement,
stabilize, release, and monitor new end-user features and capabilities
within the service. You will also work on the infrastructure it takes to
engineer and run the OneDrive service at global scale. You will work with
smart people and have an incredible opportunity to learn and grow. Best of
all, your work will reach millions of people. Also, the OneDrive team
interacts with almost every other major part of Microsoft, including Azure,
Bing, Office, Windows, XBOX, Phone, and more; so it’s a wonderful place to
see the scope of Microsoft as a whole, interact with other parts of the
company, and grow your cross-group collaboration and influencing skills.
Technologies we use span everything from HTML5, Javascript, and jQuery down
to C#, SQL, Azure, and core networking. Applicants should have familiarity
with some of these technologies.
A BS or MS in Computer Science is required. A minimum of 5 years of
demonstrated commercial software development experience is required for all
of our open positions. It’s important that you are either currently a
developer or have very recent developer experience in the areas mentioned
above.
