I never paid any attention to proof until amo dragged me into it.
I did buy some bullions back then. But they don't have much premium. The
thing is I have to sell them on ebay, if I go to my local dealer, I get spot
price does not matter if it is bullion or proof. He tells me " gold is gold
, you want to sell jewelry, go open a Tiffany".
