5 ounce size should be 5*31.1/10.5 = 14.8 ml
thinkness = 14.8/(3.14*2.54*1.5*2.54*1.5) = 0.32 cm

is 70mm in diameter. So why would would he call the thickness "paper thin"?
maybe pancake thin, but not paper thin.
