发帖数: 187 | 1 I broke my right leg in the skiing accident. The accident happened on
February 11th in Treetop Resort, Gaylord, MI.
It was a skiing trip organized by my school's International Office. On the
tow rope, the person in front of me stopped, but I still controlled myself
not pushing her. We just moved slowly upward. However, the person behind me
pushed my right leg resulting in my tibial plateau fracture.
I want to know if the person behind me is fault. Can I ask her to pay for my
medical bill.
If anybody has ever gone through this kind of things, could you please
provide me with some information about lawyer. Maybe I can get legal advice
first.

I think it's the best to consult a Lawyer. And consultation is usually free.
Since this did not happen in Colorado, you might want to look to see if you
can find a local Lawyer.

but, they will also recommend you to talk with a lawyer.
99.9% sure it is the fault behind you who broke your leg. And he has
responsibility to pay all the cost in hospital and the others caused by the
injury.

发帖数: 4232 | 4 不是律师，不能提供准确的法律咨询。但是常滑雪，所以了解一点滑雪的责任
问题。一般说来，有碰撞的情况发生，肯定是后面人的责任，不管是前面的人
突然停下来还是有摔倒的突发事件，后面的人都必须会控制自己的速度能即时
停下，这个跟车追尾的情况一样。但是有点麻烦的是，不知道你是否当时留下
了证据或者有旁观的证人？否则如果对方不承认，你又没有证据的话，这个还
是不了了之的，除非你当场就跟他对质清楚了。同情一下，也有滑雪断腿的经
历。

I am extremely mad at that person's nothing-to-do-with-me attitude, we are
in the same department. After accident, she was like nothing happened.She
only came to my APT three times in the first two weeks after accident, each
time for five minutes helping me change clothes. Then she never came, never
called me.
I am asking her to pay my medical bill because I am mad at her attitude. I
really feel she is not human being. She spoke to me yesteray,"I am waiting
for legal advice".
My god, she considered my tolerance as my ignorance of legal stuff.She keeps
pushing my button. Now I will do whatever I can without hesitation. My
tolerace is limited. I don't enjoy being taken advantaged.
