appreciated. I have always been a strong supporter of providing honest, hard
working immigrants with the legal means to achieve a better life for
themselves and their families in the United States .
You may be pleased to hear that I am a proud co-sponsor of H.R. 4321,
Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America 's Security and Prosperity,
which was introduced during the 111 th Congress. As a member of the
Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), I intend to work with leadership and
Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to make sure that a workable
solution to immigration is put forward during the 112 th Congress.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIR) will enable stronger border security,
and improve coordination between local, state, and federal government
