1. Heavy workload. As a school psychologist, your job involves counseling,
diagnosis,
implementing IDEA special ed. law with the IEP team... It's like being a
lawyer, doctor and teacher at the same time.
2. Rural areas: a lot of travel time. Usually school psychs are itenerant
around several schools scattered in a large district.
3. Pay: A lawyer: 100k a year... A doctor: 100k a year... A school psych: 50k,
10 months...
