knowledge is very easily forgotten, but the knowledge you learned by
mistakes will stay with you forever -- just my experience. | t*******r

broadness of network knowledge is more important than depth, at end of the
day, networking is just a tool, a service to enterprise, there is no need
for an operator to understand how vendor implementes a routing protocol or
how the forwarding engine does traffic hashing.
Nobody can have both broad and deep knowledge.
