标 题: Fuel cell or Corrosion!

现在刚进化工系读phd，以前小弟master材料化学，现在新老板问我想研究corrosion还
是fuel cell，我们这里产石油corrosion 特别好找工作，可是不知道4年后形式怎么样？
自己一直研究能源方面（本科lithium-ion battery,master电极材料）所以对fuel
cell挺感兴趣的，觉得以后能源方面有前景，也符合自己研究的一贯性！
其实我以前也是天天混没真心好好搞过科研，不过现在来了新学校想好好努力一下，听
说fuel cell现在成本上有瓶颈，所以离应用还挺有距离，而且在我们这里fuel cell不
是很好找工作，但是fuel cell好出文章，还听说我们组fuel cell在canada还算很不错
的（可能数前一二吧，听师兄说的），所以挺矛盾！
特别想听听大家的意见，特别是对这两个方向 | n*******1

field of oil ang gas industries and make big money in texas.
Don't worry about the running out of oil in 50 years crap. Even it's like
that you will already retire by that time and gas will still last for more
than 100 years, not to mention the coming new biofuel oil.
Meanwhile, fuel cell is nothing compared with corrosion in terms of job
hunting. Personally, I don't think fuel cell will have a bright future.

cell has a future. the problem with fuel cell is not the cost but power
density.
