I really learned a lot of words and phrases, thru the pseudo
incentive that I would have made money by getting it right.
Good thing I had an American roommate at the time, who happened
to have a degree in English. He's a master of it. I learned a lot
from the show and of course, from him as well.
Now I seldom watch it as usually I'm not home at the show time.
(FYI: the program is on NBC at 6:30--7:00pm every weekday here in
Texas. Not sure about |
