China. they are given by two different organizations..
some schools require SATs, other schools require ACTs. some schools
might accept both.. tests are given regularly in high schools.
if you are applying for a decent college, you should take both tests.
SAT is given by ETS as well. www.ets.org
SAT has only two sections, math and verbal, similar to GRE in some way..
