"settle/settlement" into other languages. The context in our case was
about the precipitation of sediments in a decanter. "Precipitation"
would have been a better word in English, but common practice is to
use "settle[ment]" instead. (Same use as in "The dust settled on the
ground.")
We hired professional translators to do the job for us. When we got
