u*******h 发帖数: 7 | 1 Prof. Kai Zhang is seeking for a new Ph.D. student in the University of
Texas Health Science Center at Houston. The position is within the Division
of Epidemiology, Human Genetics and Environmental Sciences, School of Public
Health.
The University of Texas School of Public Health (UTSPH) is ranked No.15 in
the US. The UTSPH has a No. 1 program in Health Education and one of top
programs in population genetics in the US. It is also building a unique
identity based on its location within Texas Medical Center, the largest
medical center in the world. It is the third largest SPH in US, including 6
campuses with a main campus located in Houston.
Applicants are expected to have a Master Degree in environmental health,
environmental engineering, environmental science or other related fields.
Research experience in air quality, GIS and statistics is preferred.
Students with interests in environmental health are strongly encouraged to
apply. The position will start from Fall semester in 2013. The PhD student
will work in one of the following areas:
Climate change, extreme weather events and health
Air pollution and health
Urban environmental pollution
