". Again, normally, research scientists at universities are senior post
docs. research scientists in industry can mean different things.

that people here would say. It is just your Xin Tai problem. Even all
faculty are losers, research scientists may not equal associate professors. |

这个 InfoLab Group 下面有一个 "Principal Research Scientist", 两个 "Research
Scientists", 五个 "Graduate Students".
这个配置看起来更像是 Lab 是那个 "Principal Research Scientist" 的, 下面招了
两个 Post-Doc 帮忙。不然如果三个 scientists 都可以带学生的话，不应该一共只有
五个学生。按照你说的情况应该那两个 "Research Scientists" 每人应该有一个自己
的小实验室和小组才对.

differences. Of coz they are not tenured....
