在美国读书，英文的听说读写技能都很重要，这就是为什么要考TOEFL。
上课时听不懂，课后看书慢，关键在于没有把握住
说话人或者作者的“ Points”。
As an English teacher for about 11 years, I am asked by my college students
and friends from time to time the question ”How can I improve my English?”
I usually reply them with some techniques and strategies for improving
English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Today, when I was
talking to a friend who was preparing for the TOEFL, I came to realize that
English is all about “points!” Let me explain.

原文作者教了11年的英文，发现使用英文最重要的是要有"points"?!
这不光是对英文，对所有语言都是对的，不应该11年后才意识到。
