CAST NET， 一次网住20多BUTTERFISH，当时还不知道它是谁，经其他鱼人道明才知晓
。形状宽扁，鱼体奶白色不大，晚上追SPEARING 吃。
不知它味美，全送掉了。我打算买10尺的CAST NET，练好了，就很容易搞到新鲜的
BAITFISH了。 |

I have tried this at New Haven harbor area and light house park, and I
landed more than 15 fishes in two hours
(twice). The fish was aggressive in the morning 2hr before and after high
tide. They bite very lightly, once you
caught one, you will know how to get more -- easier than to fish crappie.

80年代石油卖不出钱的时候 大家都去捕鱼 结果虾捞得太厉害了 NOAA鼓励大家除了捞
虾 可以捞这个 |

surftalk的NJ论坛问问看那里有没有这种鱼出没，回头可以带着LD培养钓鱼的兴趣。
还好看见这个帖子的时候还没出发呢，偶带个淡水小杆白天没事在茫淘客钓钓试试。要
是有回头我们在大石头上钓blue和striper，你拿个淡水小杆在那里钓butterfish，哈

butterfish主要长年分布在缅因和麻州，偶尔沿长岛外侧下到北卡。长岛海峡(long-
island-sounds)罕见，今年特殊，可
能因为CT高温偏旱，海水盐分较高（同事中鱼类学家所言，说的是"probably")
在麻州，商业捕捞用网，所以很少人尝试钓butterfish, 但朋友说woodshole 很多！

用啥饵，总不能拿抄网吧？
和dogwhisper哪回儿，的确可以用抄网网些小鱼苗，但是只能晒鱼干的那种bait fish。
