发帖数: 10701 | 1 there is a skin game tournament at Jimmy clay golf course each Tuesday
afternoon. The course is like 3 miles away from my company. I played 4 times
since 1/1/2008.
Many local good golfers (most of them are pros) play the game reguarly. It
is not surprised to see low scores like under, even, 70's.
I played like sh*t for the past 4 times. One reason is, it was always more
than 20 mph wind when I played, always. Also it was as cold as the hell in
the first and 2nd times I played. The other reaso | ET

I walked 12 holes yesterday. What I tried to do was being patient, really
patient. and serious about each shot, each putting stroke.
My score was
#1 par
#2 bogey
#9 par
#10 par
#11 par
#12 par
#13 triple-b
#14 par
#15 par
#16 par
#17 bogey
#18 bogey
it's a hard course with 3600+ yards for back 9, and windy (>10 mph) with
featured 478 yards finishing hole #18 (into the wind most of the time).
So I can see i am always hurt by those freaking big #s. like triple..

发帖数: 290 | 3 you need birdies to cover bogeys, and if you can do that you cna reduce
bogey to 1 or 2. thus you can be a pro, always low 70. keep on going buddy
now i am satisfied with bogeys , though there are always 4-5 double bogeys
and 1 trible bogeys. i need pars to cover bogeys , so i can break 90

lots of my play partners noticed that I can easily save pars from a 5-8 feet
putts, but barely birdies it from the same range. seems different mindset
is working..
