when they hit solid,it's not hard to get 150 yards. it's not long hitter, it
's just normal. even watch Tour players' data, the normal 8iron for 150
yards are just NORMAL, even Tiger.
the only question is.. what's the percentage of hitting the SOLID shot? 80%
or 20%

发帖数: 467 | 3 I think most people here can carry around 140 or longer with 7 iron. 7 iron
was my 140-150 club before for a very long time. Right now, I guess I
improve my swing a little bit so I can hit further. Well, I admit that I
might exaggerate a little bit in my previous post, saying that I can carry
160-170. I'd like to take that back, say 150-160 might be more comfortable
for me to use 7 iron. I did hit some over 160 on range, but I am sure it
will be a different story when I play on course. So for me

发帖数: 563 | 4 LZ,打的远固然不错，但总杆数少加上稳定性好才算是高手的标准啊。
另外我记得业余选手的平均距离，9 iron是115-125，8 iron是130-135，再往上每减一
号多10码。所以7号在140-150是正常水平吧。 |
