我用昨天的一轮的成绩算了一下,结果比较吃惊. (50YARD以外共42杆 8 GIR). 但SHOT
96 (PAR 72). 我很少练习SHORT GAME,因为觉得还凑和,我一般LOW TO MID 90S. 但按

GIR都从可能的Birdie 变成Bogie 吧。

green side bunker, take 2+ shots out still far from pin.
<50 yard from deep thick rough, 在不专门练很难调节好距离。
2-3 triple bogey or above, 就差不多了。
手感不行的时候， shank short pitch 不是没可能。。。
course slow play 的时候， 可以接近green 的时候， 多仍几个球练习练习。 特别是
bunker.

发帖数: 2325 | 7 我最近9洞rough中的short pitch/chip 都处理的不好， 有时候球全没入草中， 但是
草很软， 其实不需要太大力explode out. 所以要看草的状况， 软硬程度。
还有草的生长方向跟wedge 哇入的方向。
这都是不上场难以碰到的情况。在常常 练习的practice green 感觉short game 还可
以， 但是还是不够。 我现在知道扔一些球到 rough 中， 在踩一脚， 练习out of
rough了。

。下一步，就是要减少Double Bogies了。

.1*18 already over 54, say they use 36 putts. That is 90.

发帖数: 4031 | 11 LOL. No one get an 100% of GIR. A pro's' GIR is about 60% to 70%, 10 to 13.
So, 3.1*10 or 13 = 31 or 40, we have 67 to 76 for a scratch player, which is
about right.

was a bad stretch of four wholes, where i suddenly lost my swing. here is my
score card:
1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1, front 9: +10
4, 3, 2, 3, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0 back 9: +14
total: 72+ 14=96
GIR holes: No. 2, 3, 4, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18.
hitting 8 greens is not common for me, I will see what my index is in the

minimize the triple bogey or worse in your game.
I am impressed by the GIR you got in the game and am assuming your long game
is very good. You have potential to break 80.

成绩在90多。打下来，感觉他的driver and irons也不是特别impressive. dirver 一
般比咱远30码，铁杆儿有时也不太pure.但是他的putting，真叫牛！他给我几个
putting tips,然后说，好好练，you will break 90 soon, maybe 80 later.别人鼓励
咱的，当然高兴了。但体会最深的，还是这个short game.读了一些文章，说putting占

礼拜天和几个朋友打了个9洞，有个朋友的朋友，50岁左右，动作不怎么样，开球挺远
的，球也偶尔打飞，也打丢（他丢了两次，我丢了一次），短杆也不是特别好，可看得
出来，处理球，收拾残局的能力很强。球丢两次，成绩还不错。后来问了一下，他一个
礼拜在这儿至少打两回。所以，我要加上一句，
Learn more to play, play more to learn.

个GIR,平时可能不会有这么多.看看下轮怎么样吧.这两天已经开始重点练SHORT GAME了

喜欢高尔夫的原因，想来想去，主要就是这个 Learn and play的循环，加上循环中偶
尔的惊喜和a lot of 沮丧.

GIR: 7 (#1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 17)
fairway: 7/14
putting: 43 (totally sucked, 8 three-putts or worse)
shots outside 50 yards: 41
pentalty: 1
par: 3
bogey: 10
double: 3

3.36 shots per hole to get the ball on green. It's bad.

the triple occured on a 339 yard short par4. 我坚持用还没有上手的driver 开球
。 其实铁杆开就足够了。 当时的想法是让driver得到多的练习， 其实我完全可以利
用当时球场pace不快 先用iron tee off for score, 然后driver tee off for
practice.
2 double bogey: include a messed up wedge (<40yard) for each hole.
1 double: 429 yard par4, 还没有上手的driver tee off, okay.

had four extra shots in those 11 non-gir holes including one penalty stroke.
I don't think that's too bad given my handicap, but i certainly could have
done better.
of the 2 triples and 3 doubles, two were caused by four-putts, and one was
attributed to penalty.

with 43 putts, you cant expect your score would go lower than 90.
the math is very simple, 90-43=47, if you make all GIR, you still need 36
even pros can't make 18 GIR. 47-36=11, you only have 11 shots to spare if
you are not making GIR. that includes all the bunker shots, rough shots,
chip shots, water penalty, hazard penalty, OB penalty, lost ball penalty ...
stroke.
