related for me. However she won't stop me to play golf as long as I take
care of the kids in the other day of the weekend. Well compared to others,
she is not bad. I guess you just can not have everything going your way. |

really start to play golf.
it was from yard sale, it was dirt cheap. but i did have tons of fun with it
, especially, i didnt really start playing on course at that time.
i think it is a good gift idea, assume he already got a putter, right?

发帖数: 977 | 5 只是练推杆有什么意思啊。一般爱好者开始都是迷挥杆的。我打了四年了还没对推杆发
生兴趣。从长到短才刚刚对chipping有点兴趣。再说了，推杆在家里地毯上练就够了吧
？不如干脆到local golf shop花一点钱买个好牌子的6号或7号的demo铁杆练练手，真
有兴趣再买全套。

you may do some more research, basically, read reviews, buy a reasonable one.
the #5, i think it is ok la, but i dont think it is worth the list price

his first chapter is for putting, the most important part of golf game.

putting, and sometime chipping then putting.
once you start to bet money with others, you will realize putting is
sooooooooooo critical.

发帖数: 977 | 9 I'm still in primitive stage. Good driving gives me most joy. I spend all my
time on my swing and only plan to work on putting when I'm confident with
my swing:) I average 2-4 3-putts each round, and up and down rate is around
10%, so my short game really sucks. Btw, I've never bet with others.

但从练习角度说，1最好。你不容易参考直边而推杆
买这种东西放在家里，至少不用整天坐着。在电脑时间长了，松一松。

我想了再想，还是先买一套putting green + putter + balls，作为生日礼物。正像楼
上说的：放在家里至少不用整日坐着；在电脑前时间长了，松一松⋯⋯至于
group class，看看他着迷程度，可能就是下一度的 "surprise"吧。：）
说到putter，老公是左撇子，但小时候给家里管得狠，基本可以左右开弓，但打羽毛球
乒乓球都还是左手执拍。所以我想找一个左右手two-way的putter。amazon上查到一组
，觉得这只黄铜的很漂亮（我实在外行，不知道还要有其他哪些考虑）：

just like you.
In the case of putter, you need to ask yourself:
are you buying a toy or are you buying a putter?
If you are buying a putter, I do not think it is important whether it can be
used in both directions, unless, that helps to put the ball in holes.
Ask Aff ... he just spent 300 bucks (I guess based on market data) to get a
putter that can only be used in one direction, even though by two hands :)

买球杆是非常个人化的一个东西，即便是300块的putter，也可能不适合你老公。不推
荐盲目投资。他打出球瘾之后可以慢慢选择。
其实group lesson真是个好主意，当然这个putter形象十分质朴忠厚，可以用很久。是
个不错的选择。不过不用再Amazon上买。这个Big5就有，说不定还便宜。

then the rest would be easy. For example, Aff can tell how this new putter
helps him in career development. (that is the excuse I use when I ask for
golf budgets haha )

发帖数: 977 | 21 是啊，putting和击球完全是两种不同的game.Putting的乐趣几乎完全来自进洞，而且
只有达到一定水平后渴望提高成绩时才会体会到快感。完全没接触过golf的人上来就从
putting玩起，估计很快就烦了。还不如打台球，门球都更好玩些。
