和我一块打球的哥们shot 77. 大多数的洞我的drive 都比他远，好像我的green in
regulation 也比他多，可是人家总是能go up and down, 俺就不行。仍需苦练short

should be able to achieve that if you practice regularly. 70 something is
what's called a good golfer - most golfers who starts in their 20s or 30s will
never break 80, only a selective group do, and that is my goal...

发帖数: 210 | 11 i used to do that too, but it only works on short courses. these days i hardly
play any less than 6800 yard courses and i always play from the back tee,
which means most par 4s are 400-460 yds, that's when woods become a necessity
if i want to give myself chances to birdie and par. i tend to do well on 6800
yds courses, another extra few hundred yards make it extremely challenging for
me, partitually when stepping up to the tee box, facing those 450-470 yds par
4s. mentally it's twice as hard at

of all male golfers are better than 15 handicap. based on my personally
experience, among all of my friends and acquintances who have every shot 70
something, most of them started young. only a very small percentage of golfers
who started after 20 year old ever broke 80 (par 72 of course).

but i don't want to give up my long irons.
after i switched to tilesit, i sold my tm set, including the drivers and woods.
in the meantime, i never played at a course which is longer than 6000.
i thought it must be expensive.
u know, i just want to be practical.
yeah. I believe that, short game is the key. I define the short distance is
below 130 yards. I do a lot practice on that.
