have to stayed at your current address for at least 90 days(need utility
bill as proof) to purchase a fire arm. For citizen it is 30 days
I have seen one russian guy came to pick up his gun, hit unility bill is
only for teh past 80 days, he was told to wait 2 more weeks, then come back.

fbi只是通过电话听信息，不会看utility bill啊...

But if you fail to disclose your current address, or you claim you have lived in your current address for 90 days and you didn't, I don't kow what might happen.
They use the address info you provided is part of the info they need to do background check.
I have seen people handcuffed at gun show by state police for providing false info on their application, yes, right at the show while they are waiting for approval.

我是说联邦法律没有要求在同一个地址居住90天才能establish residency,只要是在同
一个州就可以了，具体可以见ATF 4473表达两处解释:
Definitions: Sate of Residence
Intructions to Transferor: Sale of Firearms to Legal Aiens(Part 1)
所以，除非像VA这样有州法特殊规定的，其他地方只要满足90天州内居住要求就可以了。
