have some good news to share.
I called my mom few minutes ago. My cousin have regained the consciousness.
He can even talk and move his legs slightly. It seems the surgery is pretty
successful, though the doctor still need to monitor him closely. If there
is no replase, he has good chance to walk again. Due to the surgery, he may
lost some motion function. Compared to the worse scenario we had assumed,
