However I want to move to share with a friend who is moving to NY end of May
. Landlord will allow me to move without any penalty before end of the
contract only if I find someone who is willing to take the place. Extremely
convenient location, apartment in good condition.walkup building. Honestly I
won't move out had it not been for sharing with my friend. I paid a lot for
broker fee and if you get now, landlord is not going via broker so you save
broker fee. I believe the landlord will need to do basic credit check and
have some nominal application fee, guess no more than $50. I am flexible on
when I move out so far as it's after end of May. Ideally latest by end of
June.
