发帖数: 6523 | 5 I don't know the answer exactly, but here's my feeling on this issue.
1. The percentage of this award does sound impressive, and you may even mention that the competitors are from xxx countries, xxx institutes, such as XXX niu places, etc. However, the "travel" in the title makes it sound much less significant somehow. You need to clarify that this "travel award" is so much different from other travel awards, especially those for students. Perhaps you can even get some letter from the conference chair, or a print-out of the criteria to select such an award, to state this.
2. When people put awards in contribution or other places, as what I saw from this board, some IOs do not pay much attention and often RFE on those as if those awards are claimed individually. The presentation of the materials is very important. If something is relatively weak and distracting, we are probably better off to avoid it altogether.
I'd like to know how others think of this as well.
