1. Use new binders. Black color! No scratch! Do not save money or pick some
from your lab corner, wipe them and say OK. Do you want to give the officer
a new shirt or a second-hand shirt? :-) I do meet some friends put
everything in a pile and pack tight in a paper box trying to send to USCIS.
I asked: do you want to put them in a trash bin or you are sending to US
Dept Of Homeland Security for the future of your whole family? He felt
embarrassed... How to punch holes? Some told me they are using two on the
top. I did regular 3 on the left and my case is fine. What should you do? I
do not know frankly. Both should work!
2. Print all labels for binder on Avery Labels. What is Avery? Google:
Avery label...Put them at the front and the side of your binders. Many
applicants do not know how to do this. Can you write in best English
handwriting? Not Chinese. If not, print! What to print at the side of the
binder? Case number; your name; category.
3. Get the bibliography from all referees. Too many pages? 300 pages for one
referee? Never worry! The more the better. I put their CV and bibliography
, plus their website info => in a separate big big binder.
Never worry that your support documents are too much and too detailed.
---Add more:
* I actually put not only their RL in the main binder but also with their
web pages stating they are 'chief' 'CEO' 'president' usually with their nice
picture printed in color.
* I put their CV, Bibliography in a 2nd binder with a cover page stating
this binder has only their CV and bibliography. (So the officer may not need
to use or read this thick binder at all, and focus on the main binder which
supports every of your claims.)
* Similarly, do not neglect your publications or awards in China. One of my
friend did not include any Chinese papers or citations, having great
confidence on his case (EB1b not eb1a) since he published >20 in English of
1st Author. He also did not include 2nd Author papers (he said that is not
my papers). He feel extremely frustrated when he got RFE, which means >2
months sudden further tension in his proud brain. Multiple friends who
included all papers in Chinese or Eng, no matter 1st Author, 2nd author
passed without RFE, including me. So, never think your 1st author papers are
enough already! No hurt at all if you include as many as possible.
4. Print all in color!!! Anybody here in the world is watching BW TV? No
more! Why? I hate that I did not have color laser printer which I do see our
International Office does use a lot when working with USCIS (When they felt
extremely sorry on telling me that my LP H4 case got rejected just 1 day
before the expiration date to appeal which luckily finally approved by USCIS
)!!
5. Print all except your signatures; Except the necessary translations on a
printout of your non-English paper.
6. Make best checklist for your support documents. You should know how to do
bullets and numbering in WORD. Use 1.1.1 and 1.1.1a. This is difficult but
actually critical. Align! Align! Align nicely like a Chief Editor for (your
) journal!
7. Ask anybody to certify your translations (no need for all, even just your
name on your paper) for any non-English: his signatures beside your
translations with a separate cover letter. Many people do not do this, but I
would strongly recommend if your confidence is < 50%. This will make it 51%
. Example:
My name is YYY. I graduated from (best Univ of China) ...with a degree of...
I am proficient in both Chinese and English. Here I verified that the
translation from Chinese to English are correct and accurate to the original
content in this application. And you can find my verifications along with
all the translations inside this application with my initial ....(ZWD).....

8. When you print web page, if you found difficult to print whole beautiful
page: should use screen shot. Many do not know how to do it. Push Fn and
PrtSc together = Copy the screen; Then open any pic editing software
include "Draw" in Windows Accessory if you do not have a Photoshop.
9. Do not expect USCIS know what is CCTV when you claim media report. So you
should printout as many pages as necessary to tell them on more audience
for CCTV than the whole population of US. :-) So, actually any media if you
can say it is national wide, it is good for EB1a.
10. Use yellow highlight pen to carefully highlight critical words.
In Petition Letter: make critical words BOLD. Printing sentences in
appropriate yellow background would be even better. Make Journal Name font:
Garamond or Italic.....Do not use red highlight pen unless it is a Chinese
government documents.
11. Put best separator pages and good looking stick-on labels at the side
of the papers to separate sections and subsections.
12. When mail, get a good box, though it would not be seen by the officer. (
Opened by Receiving office).
13. When you print materials from website, do pay attention to the
Advertisements. Refresh the webpage till you got some roses or other good
looking Ads. I printed a lot of roses and Christmas tree as designed by best
web developers when I was printing on hotmail for Review Paper invitations,
you know, it was just before Christmas!! :-)

highlight了，也可以吧，手弄得觉得不好看，我强迫症，没办法。。。还有怎么在那
个Avery tag上打印啊？不会啊。。。还有是要用binder吗？不是要在上面打孔然后装
订吗，一般binder是侧面仨孔啊，我现在还没搞清楚shhhyyong的那个装订图，囧

楼主我吹毛求疵的地方很多，不管费了多少墨，每一步处理好一些，Officer就不忍心
给你个RFE了。

原因了：大概too many 彩色 Roses/Flowers and Christmas trees，Officer一直在欣
赏，不愿意立刻就批... :-( 殊不知每天我都捏着一把汗...这就是准备材料过于华丽
花哨的坏处。。。。。。不过他们是不舍得，不忍心Kill your case or even issue a
