so you have I-797 H1B approval notice but without I-94 attached? then you
are NOT in H1B status now, and will only get H1B status when reentering with
H1 visa stamp. |

status) was never approved so you are either in previous non-immigrant
status (if that status is still maintained) or out-of-status (if not
maintaining that status).
However, LZ does have AOS after filing I-485, which is not a non-immigrant
status. |
