>MISC
My company started my EB1 process half a year after I join. Since I joined
the company before I defend my thesis, I got 140 approved right after I
graduated, and I finally get the green card within one year after I graduate
.
Though my company sponsored EB1B, my I140 was approved as EB1A (shown E11 on
I797), and my green card is also EB1A (E16 as shown on the card).
I am not a strong case, but I don’t think that I am a weak one either. And
I urge people don’t mark their threads with `weak case’. Since there are
people with less than 50 citations, two or three papers got EB1B
successfully. Unless you are weaker than that, please don’t do it,
otherwise people may think your case as a lower bound, and that
unnecessarily makes other people very nervous.
Protect your fingers way before filing I485, but don't get too worried if
you do have minor problems with the skin. I was having some allergies at
that time and got some skin problems, which made me nervous in
fingerprinting. However I finally made it without any problem.
INFOPASS does not seem to be useful in my case, and neither does SR.
>CONCLUSION
This is a very rewarding process, and I have learned a lot from all you guys
. Thank you all and huge bless to all those who are still waiting!! |
