但是我们是在美国结的婚，而且已经交过marriage certificate了。是因为这个不是

of XX, state of XX, groom XX of XX county, state of XX, and bride XX of XX
county, state of XX were by me united in Marriage as authorized by a
marriage license issued for that purpose by the clerk of the circuit court
of XX county, and State of XX, dated the XX day of XXXX Signed XX Official
Designation XX 外加钢印。
这样的结婚证明还不够吗？是再交一次，还是怎样？

很可能是他们不小心把你的marriage certificate弄丢了，你再给他们寄一份。
USCIS经常干这种事，经常把出生公证，或者结婚公证复印件弄丢。要申请人再寄一份。

Official Designation 那一行手写的字太潦草了，根本不知道写了什么。
请问你的结婚证Official Designation 就是当年那个给你们 marriage official 的
