今天得知4月起EB1排期。配偶在美国H1B身份，无visa,请问这个时候我还可以申请H4去
美国探亲吗？

考虑到这个因素，所以没想过尝试B1/2。照道理来讲，H4的AP不受排期影响才是。但是
目前EB1 AP很可能要到新财年开始才会结束，请问这会影响我的H4申请进度吗？

发帖数: 8496 | 4 what do you mean by AP? if I-512, that AP is based on pending I-485 and
irrelevant to you. You only need to make appointment using the H1B's I-797
to apply for H4 visa stamp, usually it is decided by VO on the spot whether
your visa is approved or denied. |

发帖数: 1 | 5 Sorry for this ambiguity, just realised AP could also mean advanced parole.
Here I meant administrative processing. My EB1 application at the consulate
is still under AP, and I reckon it could go on so until the new fiscal year.
In this case, do you think my H4 application would be approved?

stamp approval for weeks (or a few months). |

发帖数: 1 | 7 That's what worries me. Do you think my H4 application would get refused on
this basis? I'm OK with a few weeks or even a couple of months, but if it
goes along with my EB1 AP, which will sooner or later be held on because of
this visa availability limit, that could be a long wait.
