PREVENTING WATER PROBLEMS IN BATHROOM
1. Always use bathroom fan during and after showering
2. Keep bathroom door open when not in use, this will promote air flow and
keep humidity down
3. Clean floors with damp mop or sponge, do not pour water on floor for
cleaning
4. Place shower curtain inside tub and closed all the way, this will prevent
water from splashing out on walls and floor
5. Do not use portable washing machine, water softener or dishwasher, these
appliances are prohibited due to high water volume and overloading drains,
causing water spills
MOLD PREVENTION AND CLEANING TIPS
1. Follow water control steps 1-5 above
2. Use 10% bleach/water solution to kill mold
3. Use “The Works Tub and Tile” cleaner for normal cleaning, can purchase
at Walmart
4. Clean tub and shower on regular basis because build up of oils and soap
material promote mold growth |
