the risk sponsoring a pension plan (DB plan).
in general, DB plan attracts older employees or employees who plan to stay
at the job for a long time; DC plan attracts younger and mobile employees
because your own contribution is always vested.
you should look at the following things:
1. the benefit formula for your DB plan. usually it's
a factor * # of year of service * final average salary
2. any matching for DC plan?
