for different purposes. In another word, if you want to
"多存401k" then you won't like to "15%的税把401K取出来",
vise versa. Therefore, but executing this strategy you are
forced to accept whatever outcome it brings, which may not be
best for your present situation.

Looks to me it will work. The only setbacks are:
1) how do you hedge in 401k? For most people there is no
short option.
2) Regular account loss is limited to 3k. A lot of hassle
to control that.
3) A lot of your cash is tied up (assuming 1:1 hedging). It
is probably only good if you really believe the market is
going no where in the coming years.
