FRIFX is a quite good reit fund.
FSCRX will give you some nice exposition to small cap stocks.
By the way, I noticed that FABLX is a balanced fund. It is no surprise that a balance fund is underperforming the stock market. It is because that a balanced fund always holds some bonds.
You may use your balanced fund as a core holding and add some sector funds to boost the performance of your account.

astronomical stock fund like FCNTX.
Having said that, I have a lot of FCNTX in my 401k, not because I like it,
just because I have little choice, the alternatives are worse.

发帖数: 1054 | 17 惭愧，我真搞不明白 IRA 帐号 和401 K 的区别。 我的好像不是401 K。 我雇主 有CONTRIBUTION 的退休帐号可以买的基金并不很多，有很多限制。 我的ROTH IRA因为是自己的钱， 倒是可以随便买股票基金。
我喜欢FCNTX 因为它的表现很稳定，因为它 GO ANYWHERE 的风格， 也因为它虽然是LARGE CAP 里面第2大的基金，但是 却 OUTPERFORM 大盘。 到今天为止， S&P 500 YTD大概是涨了8个百分点吧， FCNTX YTD大概是14个百分点多点。
打个买股票的比方， APPLE 公司已经是 上市的 TECH 公司里面市值最大的了， 但是它今年的YTD照样 远远BEAT 大多数的 SMALL CAP 吧。
我买的的 FUNDS 里面当然有比FCNTX YTD好不少的， 但我个人感觉 或者波动起伏比 FCNTX大不少，或者DIVERSIFY 不够，不适合用来做CORE HOLDINGE FUND。
或者对于更保守的投资者， INDEX FUND 才是最适合做CORE HOLDING 的。 我自己折衷一下， 选择一个 PERFORMANCE 比较稳定的 BEAT 大盘的 LARGE CAP FUND。
