区别在于在rollover IRA账户里面的钱，将来可以重新转移到401K账户。而传统的不行。
但是前提在于，自己不能往里面再贡献钱。
如果一旦自己贡献钱到rollover IRA，就丧失了将来转回401K的机会。
所以如果有钱在旧的401K账户，同时又想自己继续贡献，
最好的做法就是开两个账户
一个rollover ira，一个传统IRa账户。

发帖数: 1962 | 4 The biggest reason is you can access certain funds in 401k that you
cannot get in as individual investor in IRA. For example, there are
funds which require a very high initial investment, or there are
funds that have simply closed to new investors.
Another reason is that you can take personal loan against your own
401k. Although it's an amortized loan, it gives you some kind of
flexibily to take out the money and spend when you really have to.

you don't want the roll-over ira to complicate the basis.

accounts allow flexible personal investment, too.

consider there is spread for ETF, these two ETF/MF are equally expensive
