发帖数: 778 | 4 Yes, that's why GNW is better than JCP because it's still investment grade
and most time the spread is smaller. Generally for these bonds you care more
about their stock performance than bond price. When their bond prices go
south to less than par value 100$, or say 90-95$, the stock price will down
more than 20%, usually about 30-50%. In stead of put money in much volatile
stock market for initial trial, you can follow up the bond price to make the
decision when you can test the bottom.
