刚刚入职弄401k，公司用的Vanguard，自己的paycheck和公司match的都用来买那个
2055 Tr了，然后自己试了试转一部分到那个AF Grwth Fd of America R6，结果就收了
一个fee，目测占transaction的1%。
那如果每次transaction的fee这么高，买进和卖出还怎么进行啊，是不是意思是说选定
allocation比例以后就最好永远别再动了？那所谓的rebalance还怎么进行啊。

发帖数: 278 | 2 can't comment on the fee. the fee structure is determined by your plan
administrator. so you should ask them. But in general, 401k is NOT for
trading. Mutual funds are NOT for trading. I know many would disagree with
me. But you are right 选定 allocation比例以后就最好永远别再动. As for
rebalancing, if you choose a target retiremnet fund, there is no need to
rebalance. The fund does it for you.

发帖数: 11537 | 3 不同fund group之间转一般会有费用。你在Vanguard开户，买Vanguard的fund就好了。
401k调节可以用future contribution的比例来调。

allocation, set and forget.

if you do want to trade, locate them between SPX/Russell 2000/International
and Stable value based on market condition on a quarterly or semi yearly
basis.
don't put money into those year targeted funds. you basically just give free
money to the fund manager.
