April Headline: C programming language back at number 1 position!
After more than 4 years C is back at position number 1 in the TIOBE index.
The scores for C have been pretty constant through the years, varying
between the 15% and 20% market share for almost 10 years. So the main reason
for C's number 1 position is not C's uprise, but the decline of its

Google Android uses Java, Java is embedded in Apple devices, you name it,
only maybe micros$ft doesn't use java, but I heard developers there uses
java for certain projects.
c/c++ is good for system programming, that's a fact. But to say java is not
number one, is pure flame.
Who cares if java is not number one or not, at least, if java is making tons
of money for me, I'd use it. |

all the bills so far. Java and C#, C# is M$ only and the
rest of the world will use Java heavily. |

真的操作系统的工作不多。我知道的用c/c++, 主要是通讯公司，embedded systems和硬件打交道的公司等居多。
现在做应用开发，一般不是java就是php, 在开源的领域。即使是做搜索引擎，也有
indeed.com是用java开发的。所以，从这个角度上来说，java的performance还是不错的了。关键是好维护，c/c++的memory问题多.
