The figure I got is far, far below 120K. Interestingly my friend suggested
the same figure to me. Which company/field is your friend working at/in?
Seriously!
135K for a ME PhD + 3 yrs experience seems really high though; I have never
heard of such a case before.

发帖数: 613 | 10 唉，填salary history的时候，没把现在公司的8% target bonus算上；新公司没有bonus(sign-on/yearly), 给的工资勉强和现在收入（base+bonus）持平。他们说同样级别都是给这么多，如果给我多了，对其他人不公平。唉，要不是对现在的工作非常不满意（虽然很稳定），这个Offer我还不如直接据了，因为要搬家，领导还要重新找工作。

By the way, why can't a mechanical engineer be worth 135K :-)?!

发帖数: 613 | 18 刚从Detriot一汽车公司R&D面试回来（下下周才出结果，因为他们下周还要面试另外一
个Candidiate :-( ），结果收到另一家本地Aviation公司面试邀请（24号）。这下子
该如何是好？DC的公司（a Federally Funded Research and Development Center）其
实是最晚电面的，结果最早给了Offer，要求这个周五必须给答复。
恳请大家伙儿给支点儿招吧！
貌似本地Aviation公司应该是最理想的，LD不用重新找工作。DC的公司好像也蛮不错，
one of top 100 companies to work for (Fortune)，员工Average tenure 超过十年
（非常稳定），而且DC比Boston暖和一点，小孩子户外活动机会多一些。大家怎么看？
有没有对DC和Boston都熟悉的朋友说一说？
