标 题: 周五被雷了，求建议

周五被雷，6月25日最后一天，雇主一个月内会报移民局。
打算花三个月在这边继续找工作，不行就回国。请问在这期间转身份的问题，转成B1？
还有房屋租约是一年，还有十个月，该怎么办？打算月底前搬去朋友间节省开支。

I saw someone did B2 too. Google it. Seems you just need a letter stating why you stay and the bank letter (maybe pay stubs too, etc..).
just make sure they receive your new Visa application before June 24.
It will be interesting if you find a new employer while your F1 or B2 is pending. Just let the company attorney to worry about it :) |

还有个问题，‘receive new Visa application’是指移民局收到我的申请，还是我收
到received letter。

发帖数: 102 | 5 receipt date. Usually if you use fedex/ems (overnight) to submit it on day A.
then they should receive it on day A + 1
the receipt date very possibly is day A + 2 (could be A + 2 + ?)
do the best you can and carefully prepare the materials according to the
official checklist - make a backup copy too. Good luck. |
