MR Electrical Engineer 80891
The Electrical engineer will be responsible for the design and development
of systems for medical imaging.
Key responsibilities will be:
* Designs and develops electronic systems, components or integrated
circuitry for MRI systems
* System architecture, schematic design, oversee of layout and prototype
delivery
* Responsible for documenting the electrical requirements, specifications,
design description and product changes
* Perform engineering evaluation and testing on designs to ensure proper
performance and create meaningful test reports
* Documents and enters design information into Agile for revision controlled
designs.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Physics or Biomedical with 5
to 10 years design experience or Master's degree in electrical engineering,
Physics or Biomedical with 3 to 5 years’ experience
* Experience with product development. This includes managing a product from
prototype to release to production
* Experience working with project development teams and outside vendors
* Digital design. Microprocessor based design, data transfer and conversion
* VHDL experience
* Knowledge and experience in analog to digital conversion and low level RF
transceivers
* 3-5 years’ experience with Altium or similar design and schematic capture
tools
* Strong circuit analysis, and optimization skills and a commitment to
driving all design details/issues to closure. Ability to create and release
detailed engineering specifications, drawings and test reports as required
to complete the design
* Hands-on experience troubleshooting components of hardware and software. -
Good documentation skills and knowledge with FDA regulation
* Proven technical record in design and integration with good understanding
of analog/digital design requirements
* Knowledge working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
* Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
* Strong written communication and documentation skills
* Oversee and direct technicians for the build of prototype and engineering
verification assemblies. |
