我说错了
我的意思是说不到5万/年。或者说少于2.5万／半年。
不过，当初跟老板谈的一直是博士后。不知怎么的，来的offer上写的却是工程师。当
时觉得这样也好，办绿卡容易，就同意了。

I would like to an industry post-doc. So when I was talking to my current
boss, I discussed with him about doing postdoc research.
However, when I come here, it turns out he just wants me to do engineer job
or even technician job.
I think it is weird and don't want to waste my time on technician work.
If it is not the green card issue, I would have left one month ago.

his contracts are
kind of politically sensitive and require for researchers with permanent
residency.
