Are you passionate about joining a fast-paced startup in the breakthrough
field of cancer immunotherapy? Our research team in Los Angeles is seeking a
highly motivated individual to perform hands-on laboratory work. TCRCure is
a one-year-old biotech startup with a global focus to provide personalized,
accurate immune cell therapies for a range of cancers. We are excited about
the products we have in our pipeline and we need your help to transform our
ideas into the next generation of cancer therapies. We operate in a dynamic
startup environment, so you will be comfortable with rapidly evolving
priorities and flexible with changing workloads. We value teamwork, and you
will collaborate effectively with scientists and other associates in the
group to help our product development succeed. You are self-motivated and
comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintenance of primary cells and cell lines
Performing molecular biology experiments such as PCR, cloning, DNA
preparations, etc.
Execution of accurate, up-to-date records of experiments and prompt
reporting of results
Maintenance of laboratory equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
B.S. with 1+ years of experience or M.S. in Molecular Biology or a related
scientific discipline
Hands-on experience with tissue culture of cell lines (primary cells
preferred)
Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, DNA
preparation, cloning
Working knowledge of molecular biology equipment and software platforms (e.g
. Vector NTI)
Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification is a plus
Experience handling viral vectors (especially retroviral vectors) is a plus
Familiarity with multiparametric flow cytometry is preferred
Strong record-keeping skills and attentional to detail in following and
developing SOPs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in a small-team
collaborative environment
