We are an Internet e-commerce Company with offices in Los Angeles,
California USA and China in the Hangzhou. We are currently in development of
a global social media platform to help businesses find new partners,
suppliers and customers by building new relationships over the Internet. We
are interviewing a select group of Internet, technology and business
professionals who would like to join our team.
Position: Software Engineer -- SNS
Job Description:
•Responsible for business planning and research and development of the
Company's Internet community and e-commerce system interfaces
•Responsible for website architecture design for the Community, as
well as database design and optimization
Requirements:
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science and / or three (3+) years
equivalent work experience
•Theming experiences with a CMS platform desired
•Experience managing Content Management Systems and CMS platforms such
as Drupal and WordPress
•Experience coding in PHP with strong MySQL skills
•Strong skills with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, with knowledge
of Web 2.0 technologies
•Familiarity with full lifecycle of software planning and development
processes, industry standards and documentation
•Ability to manage and optimize Web applications using Linux / FreeBSD
/ Windows, knowledge of serve optimization solutions with optimization of
request response times
•Experience optimizing the performance of large-scale websites
