If you are preparing for law school, reading the textbooks shouldn't hurt, if
you have time.
Books by the famous judges: Holmes, Cardozo, and Hand, should be good for
laying the foundation for legal study. //blush---I myself haven't read any.
I think talking to a prelaw adviser in a university should help your inquiry.
