发帖数: 179 | 1 去年有一个非常小的car accident是我们的责任，我们在红灯的时候追了尾，非常轻，挂
了点皮，100%确定没有人受伤，警察也来了，记录是no injury.
但是今年他们要告我们到法庭赔偿医疗费用，（claim脖子和背部受伤，应该是刻意要
钱，要得钱超过了我们的保险coverage，coverage=25000，他们要〉50000）
保险公司有专门的律师，但是感觉不是太保险，还有点担心，毕竟他们要的钱比
coverage多
请问我们如何才能避免上法庭？或是赔钱？
我们需要另外的私人律师吗？

answer.
This is a 0-25K case to you. Hiring your own lawyer is probably at least a $
10K expense. It's really hard to tell if you can minimize your loss by
hiring your own lawyer.
