She knocked at the door of Apt 9, no one responded. She knocked more. Then a
tiny but clear click from the lock was heard. Breathless, though she did
open the door, and got into it.
Nothing at all! Vacant kitchen, dining room, and even living room!
She felt a little bit nervous. A voice inside her was warning her to leave.
Immediately! But, driven by an inexplicable power, her legs were moving her in the opposite direction, to the eastward bedroom, the room right above
