发帖数: 26 | 1 HVAC的fan，昨天一天没停，吹冷风。把暖气关了，fan也不停。我把电源闸关了，终于停了。
然后整个系统就没反应了。
打电话人家还没来看就说service call是$85,修理要500多(还没来看就知道啊)。好贵啊，要让人家修还是自己能修嘛 | a******t

the fan will run whether the furnace or a/c is on or not.
If it's set to 'auto', then the fan will run only when

i always set it to 'auto'. even I set it to on, it should be off if I turn
the system off (heat/off/cool), but it was blowing the air.
反正现在fan也不转了,暖气也没了,整个系统像死了样.

furnace controller and post them first.

Above statment may not be true depending on what kind of thermostat you have.

我们把楼下的thermostat换到楼上就好了,然后看到取下来的thermastat居然还显示,发
现是要装电池的!

发帖数: 4666 | 8 if it's wired correctly, you don't need battery to operate. battery
is a back up in most cases. but if the common wire is not connect,
then the t'stat cannot draw current from the furnace and it needs
battery.
