打电话问carrier和两个dealer应该买哪种规格的电容
不提供信息
都说不卖部件 只能负责维修 诊断$125 要约到周四
去grainger买了个两个圆柱型电容
30UF/370VAC 和 25UF/370VAC
提到carrier 小二和另一个买货的contractor都说carrier这一做法在行业里很著名
明天清晨去试着换 约了那个contractor 如果搞不定让他换
那个小电容肯定是他去年加上去的
6UF/440VAC
不知道他想干吗 打电话问时 说记不得了 而且过了三个月warranty不管
还在service magic约了另外两家公司 周末来给换系统的quote
需时一整天 要排到五月中旬
希望这次能修好 对付过去这个季度 明年change A/C as first thing in the spring.

打开空调 室内风口有风但不是冷风 outside unit没任何动静 (以前见过的情况是compressor运转但不吹热风 换电容就好了)
contractor来后查 electricity panel A/C power is off. 扳成on 又跳了
compressor短路了 contractor说是完全死掉 人生完整了 (这个没人见过吧)
keep the old coil 只换seer 10 (这个 old R22 freon, and Since 2006, units
sold in the US must have a SEER of at least 13.), $2000 定好了这个 明
天装
之后又来了一个contractor quote seer 16 system carrier24ACC624(R410 new
refrigerant $2000) new coil and support pad for condensor ($1500) $3500
total(labor included) |

You cannot directly diagnose a failed short with an ohmmeter unless it
shorts to the housing
With a failed short, just give up. Change everything, including the lines if
possible. It is not worth fixing; it is full of acid and therefore is all
junk. Further, a failed short could have been initially induced by some
other failure in the system that caused a compressor overload; by replacing
the whole system you also will get rid of that potential other problem.

w to troubleshoot it.
99% of the contractors will do the same way because this will let him make t
he maximum money with minumum effors.

发帖数: 535 | 10 As i remember the compressor probably shorts to the housing. I have an
ohmmeter myself and can verify that later. I have 2 A/C systems and will
deal with them again.
It's not that tough to learn. or I will be ripped off later.

回来几百块。
2000块换一个compressor太不划算了。
但是contractor也没有多赚你钱，换compressor，也要CFC type II认证的人处理R22。
回收一部分HFC,吹干氮气，换上新的compressor，装上新的dryer filter，充HFCR22。
可以说除了配件比新安整机装少了之外，程序人工都一样。那还不如换掉外面的整机划
算。
seer 值越高越好，13基本上足够了。

第一个是个干私活的 不过就住在小区里 出问题了找起来方便
他说提供一个seer 10整机 以避免换inside coil (换compressor才便宜两三百
per him)
之前操心现在这个AC不少浪费时间
想着新condenser用上七八年 到时候再换全套heating/cooling系统 所以已经交
了定金
现在知道价钱和第二家seer 16 unit一样
第二家是service magic上northern virginia排第一的AC vendor
heat pump是不是只用在大房子?
这个是比较小的town house(rental property) gas furnace+air conditioner是标
准配置吧

is a safe way to ensure that you won't get shocked.
我见过45uf 30uf 25uf 6uf(370vac or 440 vac)的电容 这些用screwdriver放电没事吧

发帖数: 236 | 14 heat pump是在冬天把室外的热量转移到室内，所以要比燃烧煤气，或电阻丝加热产生
的热量便宜的多。省1/3的电费。（我的furance用电的，平时温度设定在65~68度，因
为有小孩，所以不能太低） 房子大小都可以用，要看功率BTU。
照着现在油价趋势，今年电费也要涨。
具体HVACR价钱我不太清楚，只知道技术上的一点东西。SEER 10 的机器是应该不是新
生产的。现在的新机器都是13以上的。
还有就是机器匹配的问题。因为不是整套安装，需要安装好了之后，测算一下，
superheat或者subcool。有公式，只要在允许的范围内就可以了。
google "caculate superheat"
最近买房做房屋检查的人少了，都在修空调了。早知我去修空调了。

发帖数: 236 | 15 对电懂得不多。我用的是20,000欧的电阻是原来的HVAC同事留下的。一段通过导线连到
尖嘴夹子上，一段连到螺丝刀上。专门放电用的，从来都没有拆过。螺丝刀不能用普通
的，电工专用的才可以。
建议最好别做。三项电机电容放电可以到400伏以上。一般entry level的电工都不能做。
先接孩子去了。回来再说。
