this is one item from the house inspection. it's a code violation. the
inspector wrote "fix required" for this.
now the listing agent argues the sales contract doesn't deal with code
violations. the ceiling lights were purchase the way they are. my agent
is a newbie and asked the listing agent to contact with the inspector but
got refused.
any suggestion? thanks.

if your contract has contingent on inspection, then most likely anything you
find you don't like in the inspection can be an excuse to back out of the
contract. that is what my agent told me.
